Summer Vacation Sessions at Topsail
We had so many beautiful families visit Topsail Island this year, and we were so fortunate to be able to capture some of those memories in beach portraits. I especially love extended-family sessions, with multiple generations all together at once. I have so many wonderful memories of beach vacations as a child with my grandmother, and it was always so special when she had the opportunity to travel with us--so I know these moments are truly treasured for our Beach Photo families as well. We had families traveling from Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Kentucky, and of course from North Carolina. Several families come to Topsail Island annually as they can, we are so lucky to have visitors like them! One vacation this year happened to correlate with a two week bout of rain, rain, and more rain. Thankfully, that didn't stop beachgoers AT ALL and the sun made enough cameos to still be a lovely week. The first morning we tried for our session was rained out (thankfully that actually doesn't happen very often!), but the next morning was full on SUNSHINE. It was a glorious sunrise! These are some of my favorite images of the summer!
There were just so many gorgeous photos from the summer--too many for one post! I already cannot wait for next vacation season! Do you vacation in Topsail Island every year (we hope so!)--and you do love getting portraits out on the beach too?
